Clients of Marie Marcella of Eye for Detail Proofreading in Asheville, North Carolina, have included Communities magazine, the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation, an environmental-oriented sci-fi writer, editors of in-house publications (owners manuals, seed catalogs, art exhibition catalogs, quilting newsletters), as well as clients with business cards, print ads, and menus.

Marie is also a professional artist with a B.F.A. in painting. She paints landscapes, and through her business Emerald Quilts, makes custom quilts for clients.

From 1997 to 2000 she lived at Twin Oaks Community in Virginia, and in 2003-2004 lived at Earthaven Ecovillage in North Carolina.
